Get Engaged

Meals on Wheels Route Partners are all about community engagement. They provide a valuable community service to vulnerable neighbors and strengthen the bond among their community of co-workers by uniting to do something meaningful for others. Excellent for team-building and even better for the people you’ll help.

How It Works

Companies and organizations commit to delivering meals as a team — typically travelling routes in pairs. Everyone who signs up shares the responsibility of delivering meals, and you can decide how often you’ll deliver based on your members’ availability and the size of your group. We have routes available out of the MOW kitchen in downtown Birmingham or routes out of senior centers directly in the communities we serve. If your group isn’t able to deliver, we also have opportunities for you to come into our office together and package meals for delivery. Contact us at 205-592-0413 Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to discuss becoming a part of this program.
